Video Is Key To Online Marketing

Using mobile as a key connection tool is neither new to you or to this blog. We love mobile!

However we’ve not been as diligent in emphasizing the value of video in positioning your brand, creating sales and reaching new consumers.

Video increases the likelihood your target audience will purchase from you and it gives consumers confidence about your brand (or product).

The quality of the your video is important. We’re not talking about Hollywood production but unscripted, unedited videos taken by an iPad only work if the goal is quirkiness or brevity on Vine.

Our friends at KOTA Longboards recently put together a lovely piece called ‘The Art of Flight Series’. The video was shot at Red Rocks – perhaps one of the world’s finest musical venues, but also offers stunning visuals. Using remote control helicopters fitted with HD cameras the video captures the essence of carving on a longboard.

There’s no script. No selling. No gimmicks. Just great visual representation of the sport that KOTA’s products are designed for.

This video works for KOTA. Watch it and use it to stimulate your creative thinking about video for your brand.

    RR….very cool…looks like you are having some fun with these guys!!

    BTW……Why isn’t the KL video on their website? Its a terrific piece….time to get it “out there”and aggressively expose it!
