Merry Christmas

12/21/2012

For many of us the weeks leading up to Christmas can be a whirlwind of activity.

The holiday selling season is make or break for many businesses, the pressure for perfection (be it in gift giving, meal preparation, decoration, etc.) can be oppressive, and spending long-hours with relatives can be challenging.

While I’m not immune to self-inflicted Christmas paranoia, I’ve learned to slow down and let the holiday come to me.

So when the urge to blast hither and dither to the mall or grocery store over takes you…stop, take a breath, ask yourself “Do I really need to get (insert whatever it is your contemplating here) or am I confusing activity with results?” 9 times out of 10 you really don’t need to dash off to get what you thought you needed. Let Christmas come to you.

To the friends, clients, followers and subscribers of Thought-Tech’s “On The Horizon”, Merry Christmas one and all!
