If you own a ascot, don’t wear it

06/25/2010

I know only one individual who could pull off wearing an ascot. I admired him on multiple fronts. That probably wasn’t near the top of the list – but impressive just the same.

The point is just because you have something doesn’t mean it necessary to use it or flaunt it.

I’m in Taiwan for the week. A heavy schedule of meetings and connections precede a presentation to the Taiwan Textile Federation. The content focuses on selling in today’s economic environment.

Between schedules and time zone (and maybe a lack of fore sight) I’ll have little time to write this week. So I’m recommending you read Harvey Briggs’ blog, “My View From The Shore”. Harvey is talented, smart, seasoned and insightful. You may never want to read my mush again. It’s the risk I take.
